Blogger were angry in India, and based on the BBC Report, perhaps rightfully so. The federal government in India banned 17 websites in the country. One of the sites was Google’s Blogger sites, effecting over 40,000 blogs alone.
“We want answers. Has the government goofed? Or is really talking censorship? With all our problems in India I was naive enough to feel that I was always free to express myself,” writes blogger Dina Mehta.
I can understand the outrage as government control appeared to be heightened for Indian bloggers.
A federal government notification of July 2003 says it can ban websites in the interest of:
* sovereignty or integrity of India
* security of the state
* friendly relations with foreign states and public order
* preventing incitement to commissioning of any cognisable offences.
Although this information is old and (hopefully) outdated, it’s interesting to keep in mind. Even though angry blogs are annoying and in my opinion plague the Internet and can be hurtful and hateful, there is still something to be said for freedom of speech, and for that we should all be grateful.
Does Anyone Read This Blog: Yes. The site at least has a 14,000 Alexa score. Is the Anger Justified: Not really applicable Anything Else Interesting: The names of the blogger they talked about… one was called “Pee on it” … If I remember correctly, that’s a $500 fine in Singapore.
A little bit angry, this blogger touches on the environment, peaceable things and “legalized marijuana?” It’s his place to expose what he thinks on issues green and other peace-loving topics. A Little Bit Angry doesn’t have a huge following, but he is making his voice heard at the least… A bit of a sarcastic hint to his blog posts, it makes for interesting reading.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Page rank 2, so pretty low. Is the Anger Justified: Probably. It’s opinion based though. Anything Else Interesting: Nothing that stands out.
As much fun as it is to point out the angry bloggers in the world that use their anger to pollute the Internet and raise havoc over nonsensical matters, it’s much more fun when you find something better. Something better in this case and for today is this Chicago Blogger. The best way to describe the personality behind the posts are probably best described by the tag line quote that is posted in the header:
“A man is as big as the things that make him angry.” – Winston Churchill
This blogger definitely has an opinion and definitely voices it. He may voice it a little stronger than most and he may be rather attached to his own opinion. However, in my gut, I have a feeling that this guy is a good guy that has a message that he’s ready to voice. And he does it quite well with a page rank 5.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Yes. It’s a page rank 5, although the alexa score is a bit high. Is the Anger Justified: Sometimes… and if not, it’s well-written at least. Anything Else Interesting: Good use of pictures and organization.
Angry in Singapore tweaked my interest today. This article/blog is basically shining the light on another blogger, which of course, here on “The Angry Blogger” we find that just fascinating. After all, we love it when angry bloggers get called out when they aren’t being wise with their use of the Internet. Someone’s gotta police this thing!
The blog references a guy that commented on a website, as three “different” people. Not only did he do a poor job at disguising himself but apparently, according to this blogger, ignorance was all over the comments. Below is a quote from the blog that I found to be well-stated:
Unfortunately in a blog, people can quietly and carefully read through his posts over and over again, coolly, to dissect him and know what he really is. Imagine if one day someone were to reveal his identity and tell his peers that these were his posts, and the kind of person he is? His alumni, colleagues, friends, if he still has, his alma mater, professional associations, clients, etc will be shocked to know him, the true person behind that false facade he is showing to the world.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Yes. Alexa score of 36,924 Is the Anger Justified: Yes. Great points are made and rationally exposed. Anything Else Interesting: The names of the blogger they talked about… one was called “Pee on it” … If I remember correctly, that’s a $500 fine in Singapore.
The Anger Center… Well, that’s one way to get your rants organized…
As stated on their site:
Welcome to the Angriest place on the web! Feeling annoyed? Has someone really pissed you off? Are you a disgruntled postal employee? Well this is the place for you. Why sit in your office and get all hot and bothered about that pointy haired boss, totally stupid co-workers, your mother in-law or anything else that makes you want to fly off the handle? Don’t keep it in, share it with the entire world!
This is one of those entries that makes you chuckle and cringe and at the end you are left wondering, “wow… what were they thinking?” This Angry Falcon has a way with words and apparently is a bit fed up with … scientists. Yes, scientists.
i hate it when you are hanging out with scientists and you ask them a question that you genuinely would like answered, and they laugh at you like you are some sort of idiot child who is wasting their time with such nonsensical musings. you know, that elitist laugh right before a condescending answer that says “oh, you small-minded peasant – your lack of super human intelligence would upset me if i didnt find it so charming and pathetic.”
Yes, this was an angry blog entry.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Nope. He’s venting to an empty room as his blog isn’t ranked. Is the Anger Justified: To the blogger yes. They just wanted to rant about life.
The Economist is actually a fairly interesting blog. I can never fault someone that is passionate about their message. As much as the delivery of an angry blog can sometimes completely ruin the effectiveness, this one doesn’t seem to. He’s seems to be well educated and informed. Not bad, not bad at all.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Page Rank 6, so definitely. Is the Anger Justified: Yes.
Angry drivers. With the school season in full swing and Christmas shoppers soon to be on the roads, drivers have to be ready for crowds and bad drivers. My solution to curbing road rage before it comes out in full swing? Comedy. I’m realizing I just need to be distracted from the road that way I am not as irritable when the inevitable poor driver interrupts my commute. I’m just saying… Everyone gets irritable, so maybe the idea is to prepare for the inevitable. Whatever works for you.
If stores are allowed to start putting up Christmas decorations in October, than I think I am totally allowed to post Christmas clips in October. Enjoy this classic clip from Elf.
