About
There is no mandate that the Internet is about “peace and love”; however, it doesn’t have to be such an angry place either. Thus, after a little poking around on Google, searching on keywords associated with rants and anger, I realized that there is quite a bit of pent up aggression on the net. Some of this anger is justified and some isn’t. So, I figured I’d start this blog and weigh in on the anger.
In each post on The Angry Blogger, I make an attempt to be as objective as possible. I read ever word on each post. Furthermore, I conduct research on the blog using Quantcast, Alexa, and other industry standard tools. Every post will have some commentary and I will reveal the numbers that help me to determine if “anyone is listening”. Last, I have created four classifications for posts on this blog.
Boiling
Post in this category are somewhat calm in nature but do have phrases or even paragraphs where you see the writer’s frustration which is leading to anger.
Charged
Post in this category tend to lash out, name names, and pick on individuals or organizations for whom they think are to blame for their anger.
Flaming Hot
Post in this category just flat out “Go Off” on the topic.
A Tasmanian Devil
This is my special category that is inspired by Taz on the classic Warner Brother’s cartoon Bugs Bunny. Unlike the real life Tasmanian Devil that has fierce jaws to back their angry noise, Taz on the Cartoon simply makes a lot of noise but never gets the rabbit. Post in this category are from bloggers who make a lot of noise but due to analysis on page rank, Alexa, and Quantcast statistics, it is obvious that no one is listening. No rabbit for you angry blogger!
