A Little Bit Angry

By Not Quite As Angry, December 17, 2009

A little bit angry, this blogger touches on the environment, peaceable things and “legalized marijuana?” It’s his place to expose what he thinks on issues green and other peace-loving topics. A Little Bit Angry doesn’t have a huge following, but he is making his voice heard at the least… A bit of a sarcastic hint to his blog posts, it makes for interesting reading.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Page rank 2, so pretty low.
Is the Anger Justified: Probably. It’s opinion based though.
Anything Else Interesting: Nothing that stands out.

Angry in Singapore

By Not Quite As Angry, December 9, 2009

Angry in Singapore tweaked my interest today.  This article/blog is basically shining the light on another blogger, which of course, here on “The Angry Blogger” we find that just fascinating.  After all, we love it when angry bloggers get called out when they aren’t being wise with their use of the Internet. Someone’s gotta police this thing!

The blog references a guy that commented on a website, as three “different” people. Not only did he do a poor job at disguising himself but apparently, according to this blogger, ignorance was all over the comments. Below is a quote from the blog that I found to be well-stated:

Unfortunately in a blog, people can quietly and carefully read through his posts over and over again, coolly, to dissect him and know what he really is. Imagine if one day someone were to reveal his identity and tell his peers that these were his posts, and the kind of person he is? His alumni, colleagues, friends, if he still has, his alma mater, professional associations, clients, etc will be shocked to know him, the true person behind that false facade he is showing to the world.

Is the Anger Justified: Yes. Great points are made and rationally exposed.
Anything Else Interesting: The names of the blogger they talked about… one was called “Pee on it” … If I remember correctly, that’s a $500 fine in Singapore.

Angry Toast… Just fun…

I’m not sure why this struck me so humorously, but it did…

Angry Brit Makes Valid Points

By Not Quite As Angry, October 12, 2009

A self-diagnosed angry blogger, this Angry Brit certainly has a way with words.  Although definitely, charged in nature, his writing style is engaging and it leaves the reader wondering what he’s going to mouth off about next.  The blog is certainly interesting.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: Page Rank 3.  Not to bad.
Is the Anger Justified: He’s not too irrational as many angry bloggers can tend to be.
Anything Else Interesting: It was just interesting in general.

Angry and Ignorant?

By Not Quite As Angry, October 10, 2009

This blog makes interesting points.  She posts a video that was taken of a right wing mom that was upset about President Obama’s speech on education (before it was given).  The thing that I find interesting (keep in mind I’m not politically attached in this statement) is that she brings a valid point of being upset based on assumptions.

Propaganda is all over the media and on both sides of the fence.  I’m as patriotic as they come, and I suppose for that reason alone, I would strongly assert that Americans have a responsibility to make a choice to not walk around in ignorant bliss while making strong statements.  Rather than picking a side to an issue and then picking and choosing the facts and opinions to support your side, maybe try something different. Try listening to the facts on both sides of the fence and go from there. And if you’re really ambitious and have a strong statement to make, then maybe you should do some of your own research using sources that aren’t politically connected or supported by the media.

We’d probably get more done and more than likely if the media did that as well, things would look much different.

Cell Phones Make Professor’s Angry

By Not Quite As Angry, October 8, 2009

So, the word on the street is that professors tend to get a bit annoyed with cell phone usage.  This guy took care of that in his class…. Wow.

Angry African on the Loose

By Not Quite As Angry, August 26, 2009

This Angry African is an intelligent activist that in his words:

This blog is about me being pissed off from an African perspective. And having a laugh at the world and the funny people living on this small floating rock.

A little bit about him:

I was born in Africa, South Africa. I lived there and worked there for most of my life. I have been an African development worker, an Oxfam campaigner, an African UN activist, a South African trade unionist, a South African WTO trade negotiator, a businessman running my own businesses in southern Africa, a founder of non-profits and campaigns to bring Africa to the forefront of action, and a developmental economist working on the role of business in Africa.

And he’s got something to say (a lot of things) and he says them very well. The thing I like about this blog is that he is an activist, he’s a bit angry, but he’s not ‘flipping off the world’. Instead he is pressing forward, motivating people, posting his opinion and taking a stand. This is an intelligent response to justified anger. Kudos.

This is an angry blogger worth following, I certainly will.

Does Anyone Read This Blog: According to Quantcast it reaches over 1,900 people a month. So, it’s not bad, but it would be good to see his traffic increase.
Is the Anger Justified: Absolutely.
Anything Else Interesting: His resume is outstanding.

Crooks and Liars

By Not Quite As Angry, August 23, 2009

Crooks and Liars pretty much sums up the premise of this mainly political blog. The premise is negative in nature and its efforts are to bring to light political misalignments that the Crooks and Liars moderators choose to expose.

When the moderators see or hear something they don’t agree with, for one reason or another, they post it. It’s usually not heated in nature but is instead written in “news” form to keep people informed.

This an angry blog with substance and information. That’s refreshing

Does Anyone Read This Blog: With an Alexa score of 12,900, Crooks and Liars is definitely getting their message out.
Is the Anger Justified: Yes.

Anything Else Interesting: Nope.

Flight of the Conchords: Bret’s Angry Dance

By Not Quite As Angry, August 19, 2009

Known for their parodies, Flight of the Conchords does it again. This video is the dance of the angry man. Makes you wonder if every angry blogger furiously typing away in their mother’s basement ever has a moment where they break out into one of these… Probably not.

Jet Blue Makes Me Angry

By Not Quite As Angry, August 13, 2009

Everyone is angry about something and certainly the travel industry has a tendency to easily provoke anger to its many weary travelers. This angry traveler had one good experience with Jet Blue Airlines and then quickly had a bad one. And that bad experience, turned into a blog post.

A little bit about this blogger:

VagabondJourney.com is the work of the perpetual traveler, Wade Shepard. For the past 10 years he has been traveling the world and writing about it. Up to here, he has traveled through 45+ countries on 5 continents.
